ACHAPPAM EASY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1.white rice – 2 cups
2 . Egg – 1
3. Maida – 2 tbsp
4. Sugar – 7 tbsp
5. Salt
6.coconut milk – 1 3/4 cup
7. Sesame seeds – 1 tsp ok
8. Sunflower oil for frying
METHOD
1. Wash white rice well and keep it for 2 hours in water then please it into a strainer to make it into a fine powder form by grinding using a mixer. Filtered the powder using a filtered strainer.
2 . To this Rice powder add maida and beated egg which is mixed with sugar.
3. Mix well and add coconut milk and make smooth batter . Mix coconut milk little by little add a pinch of salt.
4. Add sesame seeds and mix rest it for around 30 minutes.
5. Now heat a pan with oil for frying. Dip the achappam mould first and keep it rest in it.
6. When the oil is not dip 3/4 the portion of the mould in the batter and dip in the oil the achappam will release its own tlip after one minute take out when it gets a slight colour change and check whether the sugar taste is perfect as requested or not.
7. Continue doing the same process.
8. Now our achappam is ready enjoy…
TIPS
.The mould must be dipped in to oil before dipping it into the batter.
